From Tuesday August 6th you can come in and see this wonderful new exhibition by Nicky. (Usual museum admission fee applies).

First snow of 2024. Just enough to make everything look pretty but not quite enough for a snowman. Lovely to curl up by the log burner with a good book and a glass of wine.

Exploring Pembrokeshire

We're definitely feeling the change in the seasons this week but its a good reason to get out and see our beautiful countryside and coast and warm up by the fire afterwards.

Yesterday we walked up Carningli, one of the Preseli Hills near Newport, Pembs. Its a lovely 40 minute drive from us through the middle of Pembrokeshire with beautiful views of the Preseli's along the way. A real contrast to the Pembrokeshire coast with some fantastic walks and ponies too! Carningli is one of my favourite hills as you get such fabulous views. Yesterday however by the time we got to the top we were part cloud but it was pretty cool and soon cleared.

Wow what beautiful weather we have had this last week. We've definitely made the most of it, 6 beaches in 7 days! who needs Spain!!

One of our local walks. Its one of our favourites, I actually walked it this morning and the wild garlic smelt amazing!!

This pretty little path runs between trees, wild garlic, and a trickling stream in a place called Pleasant Valley in Wales. And the best part - it leads right to the beach 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿❤️

If you're staying at The Granary do check out the very tasty new Rock and Dough bakery in Narberth. The bread is amazing! We haven't got their early enough for the pastries yet as they have been selling soooo quickly but they look delicious! 🥐🍞❤️

A great article about our local town Narberth, just a 5 minute drive from The Granary. Narberth is fantastic town to visit, full of independent shops, cafés and pubs. ☕️ 🫖🍷🥪

We have found a new fantastic cafe (we love a cafe)! A very tasty first visit to Ash Farm near Kilgetty for delicious apple and cinnamon cake. Definitely worth a visit, super friendly and the lunch menu looked soooo good. Lots of amazing handmade crafts on display for sale and beautiful Alpacas to visit. We will be back! 🥮 ☕️ 🥞 🧁 🫖 ❤️

We have availability this weekend and next. Its also the world rowing championships being held in Saundersfoot for the first time over the next two weekends. A great atmosphere down the harbour if you're visiting.
Only a 15 minute drive from The Granary.

The 2022 World Rowing Coastal Championships are just around the corned, scheduled to get underway this coming Friday, 7 October, in Saundersfoot Harbour, Pembrokeshire, Great Britain.

The summer holidays are in full swing and its been lovely having guests back at the Granary and making the most of what beautiful Pembrokeshire has to offer. If you fancy a dip in these clear waters at Wisemans Bridge (10 min drive from The Granary) then we still have some September availability.

Wisemans Bridge was a bit breezy this morning but the waves were fantastic to watch and you can't beat the sound of the sea. Look at that sea foam! 😍🌊🌊🌊
