We are waiting for permission from the Traffic Commissioner as to whether we can restart our 888 Service on Friday 13 August. It is not definite so please disregard the false information saying that it is . We will hopefully get an answer tomorrow.

Due to the ridiculous closing of Alston Front Street I am afraid the Hexham service bus will be departing from Council Yard next to the Old Police Station. Sorry for the inconvenience to people at Town Foot . This will also apply to the local Nenthead to Alston bus .
