My takes from lisbon so far
1) the hills are mental, no need for a gym in this city, think San Francisco and add some !
2) pink street , is a tourist street ( and it really is both BUT openly offered crack co***ne and every other type of “substance” while sitting in a bar?? REALLY had not expected that!

Wondered why so so many karaoke bars in Japan!
Found my answer!
Invented here in 1971 in Kobe (also famous for the steak of course)
Osaka is fun , vibrant and my fav of 3 cities so far with a mix of ultra modern and the old Japan!

So onwards from toyko which has been amazing , what a city, busiest station in the world with 3 million passengers a day was one fact i learnt!

on the bullet train towards Kyoto which i have a reserved seat facing mount fuji
So rather looking forward to that !
Got to say though thank godness for technology nowadays as the language barrier has been somewhat difficult even in these big cities of shanghai china and toyko japan, even in hotels, bars restaurants etc it has been a challenge …long live goggle translate!

Check out the golden g*i district, tiny alley ways with the smallest of bars that fit in some cases 3 people in them
200 bars in 4 alleys upstairs and down!
Then i found Godzilla on top of a hotel too! Lol

Possibly the most bizarre thing i have ever seen in a restaurant !
Two people on a table and neither has said a word for an hour!
But there is a full 35mm camera with tripod filming on od them eat????
