Fame at last!

If you saw Escape to the Country on Monday, you'll have seen some familiar sites!

Last summer we hosted the crew at our lodges and campsite to capture our countryside escape, and they were kind enough to share our Safari tents and lodges in all their glory, including a snap of our West Lea Farm Shop produce and Chocolate Craft.

Looking for adventure? 🥾 There's so much to explore near Watercress Lodges, from scenic walks and historic sites to charming pubs and villages.

- Wi******er (10 miles): The ancient capital of England is a stunning place to explore, with the Cathedral, cobbled streets, it's bursting with history, along with some fantastic restaurant, bars and shopping.

- Alresford (3.6 miles): At the end of The Watercress Line you'll find Alresford, with it's beautiful shopping, cafe and restaurant culture it's well worth exploring.

- Jane Austen's House (6.5 miles): Jane Austen's house can be found in the picturesque village of Chawton, along with the impressive Chawton House (you can explore the parkland for free and grab a coffee), and of course the popular village tea shop and pub.

- The Watercress Line (0 miles): We are so lucky to have this on our doorstep. There's exclusive access to the Ropley platform from our site, so whether you're camping or stopping in our lodges, you can reach the play park, coffee hut, railway, and Harry Potter bridge in moments.

With the South Downs, the very best of the Hampshire countryside, and popular walks in the many beautiful villages, Watercress Lodges is the perfect base for exploring.
