Is there anyone out there who might enjoy a weekend away?............

If anyone fancies a quick dash to the South Coast this weekend, I have had to cancel my visit to the lovely Durley Dean Hotel in Bournemouth. It's a line dance weekend with Andy Arizona as DJ and Line Dance Teacher together with the lovely Marina. Plain Loco, Steve Lovett and Tony Rouse. Friday 25th. to Monday 28th. Tomorrow night is an early Halloween Party but dress up themes are always optional.

If anyone fancies a quick dash to the South Coast this weekend, there are some last minute vacancies at The Durley Dean Hotel in Bournemouth. Due to some unfortunate cancellations (including my own) the rooms available now are: 1 double and 2 twin bedrooms. With Andy Arizona as DJ and Line Dance Teacher together with the lovely Marina. Plain Loco, Steve Lovett and Tony Rouse. Friday 25th. to Monday 28th. October 2024. 3 nights' Half Board. Retail price was £259 pp. Under the circumstances, single use of the rooms may be considered. Many apologies for my absence from Facebook this past week as I've not been feeling too well again. Thanks to those who sent lovely messages after our last October visit to The Trouville Hotel. So many lovely comments, I do thank you all so much and I send my thanks to the singers for the weekend, Ed Cox, Streamline with Paul and Debbie Weston, and Cliff Weston. Also to Andy and Marina for keeping the show running so smoothly. I'm incredibly lucky that most of our 2025 events are either sold out, or getting close to sold out status. If anyone wants the 2025 dates sheet, please do e mail me on [email protected] I shall be releasing the 2026 event dates a little ahead of usual, and circulating in November and December event by event. There is just one more hotel contract to be received, before I release details.

Thank you to our guests attending The Wessex Hotel in Street last weekend. A special thank you to our Hosts Lois Lightfoot and Karen Poll, and their respective partners too. Our guests enjoyed sets from Ray Peters, Plain Loco and Rob Childs. Lois taught the line dance classes and Karen and Nigel handled the partner dance classes. I enjoyed seeing everyone again and I hope you all had fun

We have limited evening passes for our Street event next weekend:

This event is suitable for line dancers and partner dancers alike.

Apologies for the late report, but I'd like to now thank all our guests, our singers Martin Jaye, Carl Shay and Steve Lovett and our DJ Andy Arizona (assisted by Marina Howland) for a super line dance break at The Wessex Hotel in Street last weekend. Thanks also to my helper, Judith Maslen, for all the support she gives me on the events and for selling the raffle tickets on the Friday night.

The Southam Stompers group have kindly asked me to run a club holiday for them for many years now, and I am grateful for their support into May of 2025 when we will head to Eastbourne. The 2025 event is already fully booked.
