Apologies for the late report, but I'd like to now thank all our guests, our singers Martin Jaye, Carl Shay and Steve Lovett and our DJ Andy Arizona (assisted by Marina Howland) for a super line dance break at The Wessex Hotel in Street last weekend. Thanks also to my helper, Judith Maslen, for all the support she gives me on the events and for selling the raffle tickets on the Friday night.

The Southam Stompers group have kindly asked me to run a club holiday for them for many years now, and I am grateful for their support into May of 2025 when we will head to Eastbourne. The 2025 event is already fully booked.

Thanks to our lovely guests attending Torquay last weekend. Also to our super DJ and Line Dance Teacher Andy Arizona, and his partner Marina. Thanks to Darren Flack who replaced Rory O'Neill, Peter Barlow who replaced LA Country, and to Martin Jaye - the only one of our original line up who made it to the event. I must say our 2 replacements went down a storm, so well done everyone. A super total of £400 was raised for charity over two nights, so thank you Judy for selling tickets, and to our guests for donating raffle prizes which lets more of the takings go over to the charities.

Very many thanks to our lovely guests for helping to raise funds for Cancer Research UK. We have today sent on the £200 raised, so thanks to all who brought prizes to the event and bought raffle tickets over the weekend at The Wessex Hotel, in Street, last weekend. And of course thanks to Judy and Pam for selling tickets.

Cheryl Carter was our DJ and Teacher for the event and she was a great hit with lots of the guests attending. I've had several messages and e mails this week, asking to have her back again.

Steve Lovett, Tony Rouse and Wayne T provided the excellent entertainment each evening, and gave us a nice variety of tunes.

The office will be closing at 5.00 pm today, Friday 15th. March, and will re-open from a different location on Tuesday 2nd. April. During the course of this move, we will lose internet for a few days. I will however check messages and e mails on my phone, via mobile data, now and then. Back at my desk after a couple of days off, and time to thank my lovely guests, staff and singers for making our Pre-Christmas party event in Torquay such a lovely, friendly weekend. There was such a nice atmosphere in the hall from day one. Andy and Marina helped with the set up this time, ready for when they take over this event in the future. Andy Arizona taught a nice spread of dances and some recaps too. We raised £400 for the Motor Neurone Disease Association, and thank yous go to Judy for selling the tickets, and our super guests for buying lots of tickets and contributing raffle prizes.

Thank you to everyone who attended our Isle of Wight weekender at The Trouville. Our lovely guests brought raffle prizes and tickets so we managed to raise £450.00 for charity - thanks and well done to you all. Special thanks to Ben and Sylvia for selling the tickets.
Andy Arizona was super and provided the disco and did the line dance teaching, ably assisted by the lovely Marina. We were entertained by Wayne T (Fri), Chris Mezza (Sat) and Martin Jaye (Sun). All gave us fabulous sets.

Apologies for not posting before.
I've had one of those manic hospital weeks and have been trying to get my flat ready for viewings, as I will be selling up here soon and hopefully moving to a ground floor property which will be easier for me, due to various ongoing health issues.
Thank you to everyone who came to The Wessex at Street last weekend. And thanks to all our super entertainers - Kay'D, Nadine Somers and Tony Rouse - and our delightful DJ and Teacher Lois Lightfoot. We are now fully booked for this event next September but have started a waiting list for anyone who might like to come. There are still some rooms in the nearby B & B The Mullions, if anyone waiting for a room would like to try there.
Super congratulations to our lovely guests who helped to raise £300 for The British Heart Foundation over two nights' raffles. This included a sizable donation from Joan Hay, who could not attend the event. Thank you all so very much for keeping our Charity Raffles going by bringing donated prizes to the events.

I can't believe it's a whole week ago that I was welcoming my lovely guests to The Wessex in Street. Thanks to all who came, and to our lovely DJ/Line Dance Teacher Lois, and our Partner Dance Teachers, Alan and Carol. We had some super singers with us - Chris Harris, Tony Crooks and Rory O'Neill - all so very good at what they do. The £250 raffle proceeds will be banked today and will be passed on to the chosen charity soon, so thanks to everyone who bought tickets and donated raffle prizes - and special thanks to Judy for selling raffle tickets and being my back up / helper for the event.
We look forward to seeing lots of you again soon.

Thanks to everyone who attended our Torquay event last weekend. A lovely atmosphere from start to finish. Andy made a great DJ / Teacher and even got his kit off! Marina was the calming influence. Peter Barlow, Tony Rouse and Steve Lovett were all exceptional in their different ways, and provided an excellent all round entertainment experience. Thanks to people who bought raffle tickets and provided raffle prizes too. A super total of £540 was raised to split between the three nominated charities (£180 going to each).

Thank you to everyone who came to our last Durrant House Hotel dance event in Bideford last weekend. And to our super artistes, Ryan Payling, John Doherty, Cumberland Road and DJ/Teaching Team of Mat and Rod. Also, to my new 'roadie' - thank you for your company en route and for all your help too.
We were very pleased to raise £300 for charity: considering we only did raffles on two nights, that was an excellent total. Thanks to all who bought tickets and to those who donated prizes for the raffle.
