Newark Ghost Walk Join me, Ian Gillanders for a fascinating and unique historical ghost walk around the old market town of Newark-on-Trent.

Our tour starts from Newark Tourist Information Centre on Castlegate, and caters for small or large groups, and is ideal for corporate events, and private bookings – so please feel free to call us and book your tour. Our fascinating tour will take you to the many haunted spots of the picturesque old market town, including locations such as Newark Castle, that was sieged during the Civil War, as we

ll as other ghostly locations, with stories told from personal experiences by your host, as well as towns-folk and visitors. Your tour will conclude at one of the towns oldest coaching inn’s, dating back to the 14th Century, and you’ll be able visit it’s cellar, which has its own stories to tell, giving you a true, first-hand experience, of the town’s spooky secrets. Newark-on-Trent, in Nottinghamshire, is a town steeped in history and ghostly sightings through-out the centuries, with many of the towns oldest buildings having stories to tell. Whether you are interested in history or ghostly goings on, or are local or just visiting the town, these evenings are creating quite an interest and are ideal for anyone who wants to experience something different in Newark. This building is well known for its paranormal activity.
