What a fantastic recommendation from Paul and penny, who was staying in rabbit lodge, thank you guys, you’re are so welcome

We received a very warm and friendly welcome for both Carol and Phil, who obviously take great pride in their business; rightly so, the whole feel of the park is one of quality and care, with great attention to the small details which sets them apart from many parks.

The lodge interior is to a very high standard, with quality appliances, furniture, and fixtures and fittings. The rooms are spacious, with plenty of storage. The decking area is also generously sized with all the deck furniture you could wish for, and very easy access the the fishing lake, and dedicated fishing peg. The bedrooms and bathrooms are a good size, with the master having an en-suite shower room, and walk in wardrobe.

One of the most notable things is just how peaceful and quiet the whole park is, which when combined with the countryside landscaping makes for a very relaxing experience.

What another glorious day here at lakeside, just so all you lovely people know lakeside has some official dates for our curry and other cuisine evenings,

Our lovely Zenas top nosh will be doing the catering, serving approx from 5pm until 730 pm , and Zenas food is absolutely delicious, take care all, and enjoy 🥘🥘🍛

5 stars says it all, the site is immaculate and run impeccably always considering the environment, animals and fishes welfare as a priority, Phil and Carol are so down to earth with good old fashioned values putting their hearts and soles into giving people a wonderful experience and a wonderful time.

They both work hard around the clock and deserve all of the rewards that this brings them.
We stayed in the hedghodge Lodge and the lodge like all of them is immaculate and tastfully decorated and furnished.

I return back with Jill and my little dog Honey this Monday 23rd December and we will be staying over Christmas, Honey has been made so welcome, they are clearly animal lovers too.
They are even putting up a Christmas tree for us, so much attention to detail, they try and make everything so special.

As I was so smitten and enthanted by the surrounding water when we visited only a couple of month ago, i have now taken up fishing again after 30 years.
I hope to buy Phil and Carol a glass or two during our stay as they are such lovely, easy going and caring people, it is the least we can do in return.

Final note, Phi'sl values and standards are off the scale, absolutely excellent.
Don't miss out on this wonderful little bit of hidden paradise, but please leave a lodge free for me lol.
We have already book a return visit in March and June 2025, cant wait.

We had the most wonderful relaxing time in the most beautiful lodge, in a wonderful location.

What an absolutely glorious few days I’ve had here at Lakeside luxury lodges, thorney . The lodge is one of the nicest I’ve ever stayed in, spotlessly clean and beautifully situated between two lakes. The sun came out too and I’ve spent lots of time just sat on the decking taking in the peace and tranquility and soothing my soul!

I’ve written many many words (and deleted a few too!) which was the main reason for coming! And am starting to feel a little bit like myself again!

After a tough old year, this solo retreat really has filled my heart with joy!

Balm for the soul!

Wish I could have been here for longer. But homeward bound in a few hours and back to reality!

Thank you Lakeside for your healing vibes this week! You’ve been perfect!
