It is with a heavy heart we pass on the following message. Tim Martin our Boathouse Manager has sadley passed away. Our condolences goes to Barbara, Richard and their family at this difficult time.

This annual service which this year in tandem celebrates 200 years of the RNLI was led by Rev. Anthony O’Grady who is also a member of the volunteer crew at Newbiggin lifeboat station.

Last Friday we had our annual Carol Service thankyou to everyone who turned up in community spirit. Thankyou to the amazing support from Newbiggin SA and St Bartholomew's Church, Newbiggin by the Sea

This year we turned our carol service into a community thankyou event as without the amazing community support we wouldn't be here. Thankyou to Glentons Bakery for their amwsomme mince pies.

Lord-Lieutenant of Northumberland presenting Richard 'Tim' Martin with His Majesty's Coronation medal this week.

Tim has been an integral member of RNLI Newbiggin Lifeboat Station over the years. RNLI Newbiggin Shop & Fundraising team thank Tim for his passion and hard work over the years.
