📢 Willow Weaving with Wispy Willow Creations 📢

We are delighted to announce that we are welcoming Wispy Willows Creations to RSPB South Stack for an eco friendly willow weaving bird feeder workshop.

Willow weaving is an ancient craft that has been part of British history and traditions for many years. Combining this beautiful craft with wildlife conservation, we are embarking on a creative journey to make willow bird feeders under the guidance of expert Debbie.

Debbie is a self taught willow weaver who creates unique and bespoke pieces for the garden & home. Using different varieties of willow which yield a variety of colours and textures, some of Debbie's creations include animal sculptures, birds and architectural statement pieces. She is also a basket weaver as well as Sculptor and loves to encourage people to learn this ancient craft.

🐬 Sealife Stroll 🐬

This August, we will be turning our attention to the sea as we welcome new visitors to the shores of South Stack. From dolphins to whales, we never know what to expect. Our guided coastal walk will be a great opportunity to learn about the different species that can be spotted from the reserve as well as ample time to enjoy the sunshine and observe the waters. Will we be lucky enough to spot one on the day?
