🎉 Our huge congratulations to Berkshire Youth for being named Reading Buses' Charity of the Year!

Berkshire Youth runs our local Waterside Centre Newbury, which provides young people with a safe space to access support, activities, and opportunities - while also serving as a vital hub for the wider community.

As part of this incredible partnership, they’ve been able to brand a bus that will run across all routes on the network! 🚌 Designed by Apple Print & Creative, the striking blue and white livery highlights the charity’s essential work and encourages donations.

Sprinkle a little magic into your child’s half term with a trip to Corn Exchange Newbury! ✨🌱

Four Seasons is a theatrical love letter to nature, perfect for children and adults. Join a team of whimsical gardeners as they nurture a marvellous menagerie of plants and creatures through every stage of the natural world’s journey. 🍃🍂

With puppetry, physical theatre, and plenty of clowning fun, this enchanting show is set to a seasonally inspired soundtrack - which of course includes Vivaldi’s iconic masterpiece!

Happy Half Term, everyone! 🎉

If you're looking for a fun and creative way to entertain your little ones this week, this one might be for you! Lixi from The Watermill Theatre is running an interactive theatrical class, specially designed to introduce young children to the magic of creative arts.

The session will take place at Newbury Library and is kindly put on by Educafe UK. It’s perfect for under 5s and starts at 11:30 AM. There’s no need to book, just drop in and enjoy!

This is a free event, but donations are always welcome.

Our huge congratulations to Goat on the Roof, who were awarded a Bib Gourmand at the Michelin Guide Ceremony earlier this week!

These awards are the MICHELIN Guide's way of recognising restaurants that offer ‘good quality, good value cooking’ - here's a snippet from their description in the guide:

"It’s an elegant spot, with marble-topped tables lending the place an upmarket bistro feel. The menu is appealingly varied, with ‘smaller’ and ‘bigger’ plates joined by breads, dips and skewers - none of which will break the bank. The Trealy Farm ham and Wi******er cheese croquettes, along with some knockout crispy potatoes, are great examples of the kitchen’s talents."
