WE'RE DAFT AS A BRUSH... ARE YOU? π
Cancer is one of those awful things that will affect all of us either directly or indirectly at some point in our lives and the mental and financial burden for patients and families can often be heartbreaking at such a crucial time.
Newcastle based charity Daft as a Brush Cancer Patient Care a cause very close to our hearts, do an absolutely amazing job in lessening that burden a little in providing FREE transportation to and from our own Freeman Hospital when attending radiotherapy and chemotherapy sessions.
This charity led by Andy do absolutely amazing things and transport an average of 60000 patients per year using some fantastic volunteers and a fleet of over 40 ambulances ππΌππ½ππΎ
Rob Armstrong our founder and all round good guy has recently onboarded the help of friend Alan Shearer in signing a few Newcastle United shirts to be raffled off as well as a donation of Β£1000 from ourselves at nearby to put.towards the costs of running those ambulances.
Well done guys for all that you do for us and a massive thanks to Rob for making this happen!
