MERRY CHRISTMAS
TO THE KIDS 🎁 🎅🏼

Every year as one of our special nominated charities we make a special trip to our friends at the The Great North Children's Hospital based at the RVI in Newcastle!

Providing care and compassion for some of our kids who will be spending the festivities on the wards this year the staff do an absolutely amazing job of looking after and making sure each child has the best day they possibly can!

So we were overjoyed to once again be providing over £2000 worth of gifts that will hopefully put some smiles on some faces tomorrow as the big day arrives! 🎅🏼

It was lovely to spread a little joy earlier today when we popped along to the The Killingworth Arms Pub & Carvery and met the lovely Coral to drop off some goodies as part of their Angel Scheme 😇

The scheme is invaluable to the area in providing gifts this Christmas to some more of our disadvantaged youngsters and we were delighted to sponsor a total of seven angels this year!

SAFETY FIRST THIS CHRISTMAS 🚕✅

With festive parties now in full swing there's no better time to offer some sound safety advice when travelling this December!

We all know how easy it is to get separated from your party, especially when it's busy, so when booking your next ride make sure you stick to the following tips and you should be ok 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾

✅ If booking through ourselves ALWAYS check the vehicle details we send you match those of the vehicle that turns up.

✅ Your driver should always be wearing their ID card showing their picture, name and council they are licenced with, if this is not the case please contact the office.

✅ Always make someone you know aware of your travel arrangements and if you don't feel safe whilst travelling give them a call for reassurance.

✅ If we've sent you a tracking link or you've booked through the app then track your vehicle progress as they make their way to you ensuring the right vehicle.

✅ If you've been shopping make sure you collect all your belongings before exiting the vehicle. Our driver will return lost items but their next customers may not!

✅ If you're travelling sit in the back of the vehicle if it makes you feel safer and please remember to wear your seatbelt whilst the vehicle is moving.

✅ Always make sure the vehicle sent for you carries a licence plate on its rear and that the licence is in date and current.

To ensure the safety of all our passengers all of our drivers carry an enhanced security check (DBS) and have attended our own in house driver training course as well the initial guidelines given to them via the local council when becoming a driver. Through our state of the art dispatch system all of our fleet can be tracked in real time whilst working as well as providing a first name contact and full vehicle details of your driver before arrival.

As well as council licensing checks we also carry out our own weekly spot checks ensuring drivers vehicles are of a good working standard, clean and all documentation correct.

In the unlikely event that you do have an issue with any of our services please do not hesitate to contact the team and we will do our best to resolve it but most of all enjoy yourselves this Christmas but please be alert for anything suspicious and if you feel that something isn't right always either contact ourselves to confirm or alternatively contact Northumbria Police on their non emergency 101 service or for anything urgent or happening right away please ring 999

Always nice to receive such fantastic praise for one of our drivers especially when they've gone out of their way to help a member of the public!

Well done to our driver Mick who assisted a fellow driver after her car's clutch went whilst carrying her two children by safely pushing the vehicle off road to safety 🙌🏼🙌🏽🙌🏾

It's so nice to know there's still some fantastic folk out there who will stop to help out someone in need and thank you to Daiva for taking the time to write to us and make us aware!

It was nice to be able to spread some joy recently when we answered the call from one of our regions care homes who were looking to spruce up the residents tree with some brand new decorations 🌟🎄

What was even nicer was when we received a lovely thank you note along with a stunning picture of the finished tree adorned with some traditional candy canes at the home's request!

From all the team at we wish both residents and staff a very Merry Christmas and we hope you all have a wonderful time around your new centrepiece, it looks beautiful! 🎄🎄🎄
