Here's Ali and her lovely mum, Lynda on a recent holiday to Montenegro. "I love travelling with my mum because she's just as adventurous as me! When it comes to food she's always happy to share which means I get to try double the dishes. Here we are in Kotor where we visited an oyster and mussel farm. After learning all about the producer's ropes and swimming around the farm, he treated us to the freshest shellfish and plenty of natty wine. What an amazing experience we shared together."

With today being Mothering Sunday. We thought we would share a couple of our own memories 🥰

Here is me and my “mam” my nana Anne.

My nana Anne has always been like a mam to me. She’s 89 years young and was diagnosed with vascular dementia 2 years ago. We love to “ladies who lunch” together and often reminisce about our time in the kitchen together when I was small. She taught me to make a mean mince & dumplings using the simple method “half fat to flour” none of this packet rubbish!

Triple A Food Tours were shortlisted a few months ago for “Experience Of The Year” for our Ouseburn Food Tour including The Victoria Tunnel.

Ouseburn Food Tour 🍻 Immerse yourself in one of Newcastles most creative quarters. With its stunning graffiti art that is found on every corner, to the many artisan style eateries, breweries and even an urban farm, it’s not hard to see why the Ouseburn Valley is so popular! This food tour really is a tour like no other. We begin the day with a private tour of the 19th Century Victoria Tunnel previously a waggonway under the city, that leads to the River Tyne. After the tour , it’s hard hats off as we begin our food safari around the valley, sampling food and drinks from around the Ouseburn. Dining styles change up as we go along, including a stop at a Michelin Guide restaurant so you will be sure to experience all that the area has to offer!
