Guest Information

We have had a lot of guests asking why they haven't seen our hens 🤔

On the 28th of November 2022, unfortunately DAERA advised all bird owners that due to the threat of spreading Bird Flu ALL birds had to be housed.
The housing order legally requires all bird keepers, including owners of pet birds, commercial flocks, backyard and hobby flocks, to keep their birds indoors or otherwise separate from wild birds and is part of the Avian Influenza Prevention Zone (AIPZ) in NI.

This order is unfortunately still in place, and we hope that our chickens will hopefully be free roaming again soon 🐔

With such important levels of precious ancient woodland, the Woodland Trust in Northern Ireland are proud to be entrusted as the new custodians of such a special place for conservation. Mourne Park will enable the Woodland Trust to protect and restore ancient woodland, re-establish new habitats for wildlife and to open the woodland for free for people.

International Nurses Day

Happy International Nurses day to Keria's best friend of over 25 years Donna-Louise,
Donna Louise decided after years of thinking about it decided to change career and started her pathway to nursing, she hasn't had it easy as just into her training the pandemic started thrusting her into the unknown which made her training even harder but I'm so delighted that she passed with flying colours and signed off as a nurse🎉 She is one in a million and anyone who is in her care will be very lucky ❤️

Happy Yorkshire Pudding Day 🎉

This is an important edition that features on all of our roast dinners but none compared to the one's Neil's Grandma Mary ( the lady in the corner ) used to make 🤷‍♀️

I am convinced that it was due to her being Yorkshire born that she had a little extra magic to make them just perfect 😋

🤓 Did you know In order to be called a Yorkshire pudding, there must be a rise of at least 4 inches experts say 😀
