A review from the guests who have just left the coach house. This makes everything worth it.

As a family of six, we spent our two-week vacation in the Coach House. The cottage is totally cozy, spacious, with a lot of attention to detail and gave us and our 4 children absolutely enough space. Everything you need is there. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and the dining table in the living area is very large. There are two living rooms with a couch, armchairs and two televisions, two bathrooms, one of which has a bathtub, a fireplace and 3 bedrooms with plenty of space. There are numerous flyers with excursion options available in the cottage. There are even games and books available. There are numerous activities for families in the immediate area. We were able to fill our two-week vacation well. What is particularly worth mentioning is that Alison cooked us a very tasty dinner and baked a cake on the day of arrival. When we arrived after a 10-hour journey from Germany, the table was already set and the food was ready. Alison had already bought us breakfast for the following day so that we could arrive relaxed as a large family. Thank you very much for that. We felt very warmly welcomed and can recommend the Coach House to anyone who wants to spend a relaxing holiday and enjoy nature.

The Friends of All Saints Newland are delighted to host Sabrinensis chamber choir on November 4 to perform the exquisite Faure Requiem.

This is a wonderful opportunity to hear this music with the perfect acoustics in the 'Cathedral of the Forest'. With readings from the Gloucestershire writers and poets, this promises to be a beautiful evening of remembrance.

There will be coffee/tea, hot chocolate, cask beer and wine – plus we will have hot water bottles on tap to keep out the cold.

Saturday 4 November, pay bar from 7pm (and post-performance).

Performance starts 7:30pm
Venue: All Saints Church Newland, Almshouse Road, GL16 8NL

Tickets £15 from [email protected]

Homemade Cakes and Biscuits on arrival and Breakfast packs by request.
