Our guest KC has just returned from a fantastic liveaboard adventure in the Solomon Islands aboard Emperor Bilikiki.

This legendary South Pacific paradise of almost 1000 islands is renowned for its superlative diving and snorkelling. The Solomons offer spectacularly diverse and colourful reefs, macro and pelagic life, as well as incredible WW2 wreck diving that includes fascinating planes, freighters and trucks.

What a way to finish - an incredible 14-day trip to end the season onboard Bilikiki!
This unforgettable journey took us through the breathtaking waters of the Florida Islands, the serene beauty of Marovo Lagoon, the vibrant reefs of the Russell Islands, and the iconic dives of Mary Island.
Once again, we welcomed divers from around the globe – United States, Poland, England, Switzerland, Denmark, Hungary, and Venezuela – all united by a passion for the ocean’s wonders. Within the group, we had the great pleasure to have onboard the former onboard managers Daniela and Chaba who came back to dive in their beloved Solomon Islands!
The underwater highlights were nothing short of spectacular. When it comes to pelagic action we have to mention how very lucky we were to encounter a majestic hammerhead shark swimming around us. Of course, there were also mesmerising schools of barracudas and jackfish, along with big tunas, reef sharks (grey, white and black tips), and the graceful eagle rays among others.
Every dive was a feast for the eyes and soul!
For the macro lovers, the tiny treasures didn’t disappoint. We had sightings of pygmy seahorses, the elusive robust ghost pipefish, colourful leaf scorpionfish, the ever-fascinating mantis shrimp, juvenile spadefish, ribbon eels, juvenile sweetlips, and three stonefish (to name just a few).
The Solomon Islands continue to offer unmatched underwater biodiversity and spectacular dive sites, leaving divers in awe of its beauty and variety.
To our incredible guests, thank you for choosing the Bilikiki and for your adventurous spirits that made this journey extraordinary.
And to our dedicated and hardworking crew, a big thank you because your efforts and warmth turned this trip into more than just a dive adventure - it became a lifetime experience!
