Sandford House is a 'B' Listed Arts and Crafts property in North East Fife in a countryside location halfway between St Andrews and the River Tay. We have 6 luxury self catering holiday homes at this location. Each holiday home has 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms, all en-suite with a bath, shower or both. Each property has an open plan lounge, kitchen dining area with comfortable sofas, oak flooring, a wood bu

rning stove, table and chairs and fully fitted kitchen with electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave and coffee machine and all other utensils. Each holiday home has oil fired central heating and hot water. The 7 acre grounds allow for a seating area for each holiday home + a large wooded grassy area suitable for soaking up the sun, playing, relaxing or walking. There is adequate car parking in the large car park.

Thankfully, due to the hard work of the greenkeeping staff during the Spring and Summer, we can play on full greens and we will only have mats on the tees. 👏👏

We will have NO greens on winter greens and NO mats on fairways.

Amey is undertaking drainage improvements on the A92 by Wester Kinnear Farm, North of Kilmany from Monday 23rd September to Friday 18th October, including the installation of new filter drains and headwalls.

Work will take place weekdays from 8am to 6pm.

The essential maintenance will be undertaken under daytime lane closures with 24/7 temporary traffic lights starting at Logie Junction and ending at the eastbound layby.

Very very pleased on arrival. Stunning location, views across to Dundee, and loved the accommodation. One of nicest we have stayed in. Well equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds. Red squirrels and Aberdeen Angus on show from our window. What more could we want. We would love to return.

What a lovely review from some guests who stayed with us recently in The Coach House: A wonderful stay at the Coach House Review: I would 100% recommend a stay at The Coach House. The open plan layout suited our family (2 adults and 2 children) wonderfully. The accommodation felt luxurious and I must mention that it was absolutely immaculate. Dundee is a short (10 minute) drive away if you need to get into the city, but the guest folder that Ralph and Evelyn provide covers lots of points of interest. I must also mention the lovely welcome basket that is provided on arrival to the property, it was very gratefully received. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again, and look forward to returning in the future. Thank you Ralph and Evelyn for a lovely stay. The Coach House is our newest property and is fully wheelchair accessible. It's available from 1st - 4th August and 5th - 9th September - make sure you don't miss out! Review: 3rd staycation at Sandford This was our 3rd stay at Sandford Country Cottages. We opted for The Coach House this time having stayed in The Giddy Limit and Lady Bluebell on our last visits. The Coach House is spacious and beautifully appointed. It was ideal for us. While we had planned to be more active, we spent time relaxing on the terrace enjoying the good weather. Evelyn and Ralph are great hosts and very welcoming. We are already talking about a return visit!
