This weekends sugar cravings! 🍪

These are an adaptation of The Boy Who Bakes ‘Sourdough Chocolate Chip Cookie’ recipe, but instead of chocolate chips..we stuffed them with Nutella 😍

(They’re also great for freezing, so we made backups. You know...for ‘just in case’ 👀)

🎄Welcome to the CASTLE CHRISTMAS CAFÉ 🎄

Mr Drakeford may have banned us from alcohol consumption at the Castle Inn but NO ONE can ban Christmas at the Castle Café!

Our restaurant door is now the main entrance to our fully decorated, fully festive Christmas Café. Christmas songs will be on loop (we will be accepting song requests), and there will be a roaring log fire burning every day - its going to be SO cosy! 🥰

Our Christmas Café will be offering you lots of goodies, such as:
☃️ Festive food (the Festive Burger is back!)
☃️ Bean-to-Cup Clifton Coffee Roasters Coffee
☃️ Delicious cakes (of course mince pies)
☃️ Refreshing soft drinks including a range of non-alcoholic beers & spirits

We will also be serving you your favourite Christmas tipples to takeaway:
🎅🏻 Mulled wine
🎅🏻 Baileys hot chocolate (or any liqueur you like really)
🎅🏻 Liqueur coffees
🎅🏻 2-pint Butty Bach cartons

Our Café opening times are as follows:
⏰ Monday CLOSED
⏰ Tuesday - Saturday open between 10am & 6pm. Food served between 10am & 5pm.
⏰ Sunday open between 11am & 4pm. Food served between 12pm & 2:30pm.

🥡 Evening takeaway service will be available on Fridays & Saturdays from 5pm.
🥡 Sunday lunch will also be available to takeaway hot or cold. We do ask that you please order before Friday for Sunday lunch where possible.

Rest assured your Christmas is safe in our Castle Christmas Cafe. We have recently invested in bespoke COVID screens for safety and we continue to follow all COVID-19 guidelines.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank our wonderful team and customers for your support in 2020, Newport’s local businesses and everyone working to keep them going have worked incredibly hard and adapted over every hurdle 💖
