Footpath closure from cliff path at top of Compton Farm steps to main Compton car park https://www.2thegranary.co.uk/

📢 Important update for visitors to Compton Beach and surrounding coastal paths.

If you're planning to visit Compton Beach or enjoy a walk in the area, please note that part of the coastal path (F35) at Compton Cliffs is currently closed due to landslips. For your safety, please stay well away from cliff edges and the base of cliffs.

To bypass the closed section, you can cross the Military Road and follow the off-road Rights of Way network. If you choose to walk on the Military Road or its verges, please take extra care.

Good news: the steps down to Compton Bay and Compton Chine remain open and accessible, with signage in place to help guide you.

Enjoy your visit, but please explore responsibly and stay safe! 🌿

Our thanks in advance to all those who take part from Vectis Vintage Tractors and Engine Club, and this year there's a special surprise with live music from Sound Waves Entertainment all fundraising for the IWPCSG (Isle of Wight Prostate Cancer Support Group).
