Newport folk - please tell us that this little boy made it back to his mother? It broke our hearts seeing his mother swimming in the shallows last night but he was on fighting form this morning as we left, so we are praying that he made it back OK. 🙏🙏🙏

Has Peggy finally run out of batteries?!!!

We are here on our first Autumnal trip to Newport. The weather forecast was fairly biblical but it has been much better than feared, although it was hammering it down as we set off to Nevern earlier…. We swam this evening and are still alive to tell the tale. The first dunk was bracing but all good after that.

It is a great time to visit right now. No crowds but still a great vibe and the micro climate still helps out on the weather front 😎
