Island Gems Fossil Hunting Trips and Dinosaur Walks was created in 1987 by the 'Fossil Man', Martin Simpson. We run a variety of different trips including public trips, private trips, trips for school parties, trips for birthday parties, speciality trips and we also offer educations talks on fossil, evolution and the Isle of Wight using real fossils as props. Gems Shop. You can book with us in person, over the phone or online. For our two hour public fossil trips, our prices are £4 per adult, £3 per child/senior or £12 for a family ticket which covers two adults and up to two children. Family of five ticket (2 adults and 3 children) £14. Our trips run all year round.
