As Newport's main bus provider, we believe it's essential to not only provide efficient, safe and reliable travel for those in our community, but also highlight and share impactful stories, spreading awareness for important matters.

On 28th March 2024, sadly, Newport man Callum Clement passed away after struggling with his mental health. Nearly a year on, his family and friends will be running Newport Half Marathon, teaming up with 'Men's Minds Matter', a charity dedicated to transforming the landscape of men's mental health by offering crucial support and resources to those in need.

After finding the charity and reading more about it and how it helps, Callum's family all agreed it was the right charity to support and raise money for. So on 13th April 2025, nine of Callum's family members will tackle Newport's half marathon raising money for the brilliant charity. Callum's brother said "We are running for Callum and his memory, and in the process we hope to help those who need it."

By donating as little or as much as you can, you'll be showing your support for Callum, and men like him who struggle daily with their mental health.
Best of luck to Callum's family in April!
