Experience Newquay announcement 📣 applications are now open!

Experience Newquay is looking to commission a range of organisations to deliver cultural events, workshops and activities and create permanent installations across Newquay town centre. The work will contribute towards creating and promoting off-season experiential tourism products and sustainable year-round tourism.

There are 2 grants available:

Project Grant 1: Cultural Activities
Grants of up to £7,500 for cultural activities (eg workshops, exhibitions, events, performances) with an element that has a lasting legacy.

Project Grant 2: Permanent Installations
Grants of up to £30,000 (2 awards available) for permanent installations in Newquay town centre. This could be murals, sculpture, lighting, creative play, street furniture or any other intervention that celebrates Newquay and improves the local infrastructure. Workshops and/or events for participants to participate in are required in conceiving and/or making the installation.

The deadline for Project Grant 1: Cultural Activities Applications and Project Grant 2: Permanent Installations Expression of Interest is December 3rd 2023.

The days have certainly been beautiful this week.

The cafe, footpath, footbridge and ferry are open from 9.30am-6pm daily. Our menu is served until 5pm. No need to book, we look forward to sharing this view with you.

One of the most beautiful beaches & cove. Best visited out of season or set off really early as the roads to it are so narrow!! Make a trip of it and visit the Minack theatre also.
