At Porth Sands we like to think that we have thought of the little things, those things that a guest may need. We stay at Porth and our other property regularly so that we can test them ourselves, and we furnish them to meet the needs of it's guests. From luxury linen and towels to making sure the kitchen is equipped to cook a roast dinner! We also think about the weather, and yes it rains a lot in this country, so we do have unbrellas, books, dvd's, puzzles and games. What ever you are expecting hopefully we will meet that expectation and more.

Do you love walking?
The owners of Porth Sands do. They are currently on a mission to walk the 630 miles of the South West Coastal Path (SWCP). This path goes from Minehead in Somerset and finishes in South Haven in Dorset. I say on a mission, but it has in fact taken them two and half years to do 315, they aren't in a rush!
Did you know that Porth Sands in Porth sits on the SWCP, it's right outside the front door! It is an ideal base if you are undertaking the challenge. With a min of a two night stay, if you are doing this stretch then head to our website and book your stay, we even have a bath to rest those weary legs

If you are wanting some weekend Christmas cheer then head to Newquay on 29th Nov.

Newquay Light Switch On, with live music, entertainment, the light switch on and fireworks. Before the Light Switch there will be Christmas carols and party music to get everyone into the festive spirit. Afterwards watch a fantastic firework display over Newquay bay.

Enjoy this Sunday on the beach, sipping cocktails! 🍹 Bet you didn't think we'd be saying that on a November morning?

Well, we are still serving refreshing Drink Nicholson cocktails throughout the colder seasons, and all within the comfort of our cosy beach cafe - a few steps from the sand.

To make this even better - from 12-6pm today (Sunday 10th) cocktails will be 3 for 2 😍 and we also have a DJ stationed within the cafe playing a mix of chill, lounge, jazz and funk music 🎶
