🌕Everyone has both light and dark inside them. Positive or negative, the full moon takes your strongest qualities and enhances them. According to Dr. Perrakis, the full moon has a way of bringing both sides out into the open. “In the literal sense, what the full moon does is expand and it magnifies everything.” The sign of Aries, for example, is ambitious, outgoing, and personable. The positive side of an Aries during a full moon is the greater desire to be social and to share their opinions with others; however, Aries is also very headstrong. “Aries is ruled by Mars, which is a planet of war; they don’t hesitate to engage in conflict, especially in conversation. So at the full moon, they can feel agitated.” If you find yourself in an argument with an Aries around the time of the full moon, brace yourself, because they are prone to anger and will not hold back. 🌕

Hatha yoga
Technically, Hatha is a catchall term for any physical yoga that includes postures and breathwork. In the West, Hatha yoga is its own style. When you see a class advertised as Hatha, you can expect a general style that combines a mix of standing and seated poses.

Hatha yoga focuses on strengthening, relaxation and flexibility. You move from one pose to another, holding each for several breaths. Your instructor provides detailed instructions throughout the class.

Hatha yoga is excellent for beginners. “A Hatha class is a good place to start because it teaches the foundations of yoga and an awareness of your breath and body,”

Lately, the world seems to be lurching from one crisis to another. We’ve experienced a global pandemic, dramatic changes to how we conduct our daily lives, economic uncertainty, and political and social turmoil, as well as an array of natural disasters. Then there are personal traumas that people are also dealing with, such as the loss of a loved one, declining health, unemployment, divorce, violent crime, or tragic accidents. For many us, this is a time of unprecedented struggle and upheaval. While there’s no way to avoid sorrow, adversity, or distress in life, there are ways to help smooth the rough waters and regain a sense of control. Resilience is the ability to cope with the loss, change, and trauma that have been inevitable parts of life even before these extraordinary times. Building resilience can help you better adapt to life-changing events, cope with turbulent times, and bounce back from hardship and tragedy.

"New Moon in Pisces is Wednesday, March 2
The field of opportunity opens with this auspicious moon bringing support, inspiration and a flow towards manifesting what you want without the obstacles you may have recently experienced. The challenge is to be clear about what you want, how you want your life to unfold, and what it is you wish to manifest. Don’t worry about the details and don’t overthink the process. What does your heart want? What do you feel is your next big step and bid for power?

Rely on your intuition rather than intellectual information and imagine your intentions from a place of creativity and dreaming more than what you have accepted as your reality. Set the seeds now that will determine how things manifest for you in the future. Without needing to know the details, how do you wish to feel yourself to be in a year, 3 years, 5 years? Stretch a little into an expanded desire that your small self does not think you can have or deserve to have.

The way to support your intentions once they are set is to spend some time in a higher vibration such as can be created by beauty, love, awe and gratitude. Stay away from negativity, martyrdom, cynicism and limited thoughts, both in yourself and in others. There is good window of time (March 2-6) to be focused on intentions and clearing any doubt, resistance or mistrust. Take the discipline of last month and put it into determination behind what you wish to manifest. Watch that you don’t manifest something out of fear or a negative projection. Watch what you ask for and be conscious about the asking.

We have a goal of growth this year and often we think of growth as being achieved through hardship, suffering and painful lessons. This is an opportunity to shift that perspective and intend for growth to be through positive, pleasurable, satisfying and fun experiences".

🌚Restorative yoga & Yoga Nidra🌝

This a practice that is all about slowing down and opening your body through passive stretching & breathing. You’ll hardly move at all, doing just a few postures in the course of an hour. It is a completely different experience than most contemporary yoga. Deeply nourishing for the body, mind & soul.

Yoga nidra or yogic sleep is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, like the "going-to-sleep" stage. It is a state in which the body is completely relaxed, and you become systematically and increasingly aware of the inner world by following a set of verbal instructions.

Suitable for all ages & abilities.

The studio is fully equipped, & will provide all you need, please arrive 5/10mins before the class starts to get yourself warm, snug & prepared. Please wear something comfortable. Tea & treat will be served after the practice. Boom via our website in the EVENTS tab ✌🏼
