The Retreat, our newly developed one-bedroom apartment, is set on the former site of Crantock Bay Spa, nestled along the Southwest Coastal Footpath on Cornwall’s breathtaking North coast.

Guests who remember the Spa will recognise its iconic private sea-view sun terrace, now reimagined as a spectacular outdoor space, seamlessly connected to the apartment’s living area for uninterrupted views.

Paying homage to its origins, The Retreat incorporates several original features of the former spa,
enhanced by the addition of a stunning fireplace, perfect for cosy winter evenings. The apartment also
includes a private entrance, outdoor storage, a dedicated parking space, and is dog-friendly too.

Guests enjoy complimentary membership to the Leisure Club, which provides access to a heated indoor swimming pool and tennis court. Whether you’re looking to surf, cold-water dip, or simply enjoy walking your dog, three beautiful beaches are within walking distance, making The Retreat the ultimate
destination for a relaxing yet adventurous coastal getaway for couples.

With the sad closure of our Spa, we now have the daunting task of selling the majority of our beauty equipment, furniture, towels, mitts and accessories, so we will be holding an 'Open Day' on Monday 6th January.

🌸 A Heartfelt Goodbye 🌸

Today marks a bittersweet moment for us at Crantock Bay Spa. After 8 years of serving this amazing community, we’re closing our doors for good.

It’s a sad day, but also one filled with immense gratitude. To every guest who walked through our doors, trusted us, and supported us—you and our wonderful therapists have been the heart of our journey together.

Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your self-care and wellness story. The memories and connections we’ve made will stay with us forever.

Though this chapter is ending, there are exciting things on the horizon so keep following us for more details in the coming weeks.

Finally, thank you to the amazing Made for Life team. Your products are simply the best and helped make Crantock Bay Spa something very special.

The Crantock Bay Leisure Club operates a ‘Members only’ policy for those staying at Crantock Bay Apartments, or for those who have a permanent residence in the local vicinity. It features a heated indoor swimming pool with spa bath, changing rooms and tennis court overlooking Crantock Beach.
