The Green Christmas Market 2024
Our Green Christmas Market was cancelled after Storm Darragh which was disappointing. On Saturday morning I did feel we were in the Christmas edition of Eastenders! Anyway after a great effort from Team Hanna (and Marc) we got things cleared up and we even managed to serve a few coffees to the the brave souls who didn't realise that things had been cancelled. We thought we would share a video taken by Emily on Friday night which shows you what we had planned for you as it did look very festive . Our stall holders all can be contacted by their own social media so please reach out and make local purchases.

Back home after 2 days of meetings with international travel buyers. I have never done anything like this before. It was intense and very busy with consecutive 15 min appointments! Congratulations Discover Northern Ireland and Tourism Irelandfor organising such a successful and surprisingly enjoyable event! It was great to be with Newry Mourne and Down businesses all promoting each other, Visit Mourne and Mourne Gullion Strangford Geopark. My table was beside Adam and Rachel Flat Cap Adventurers - 4x4 and Louise from Gray's Bushmills. If you are up at The North coast look these businesses up.

After hearing so much about Yoyo - coffee & dough I finally got to go! Coffee and cruffin were consumed. Coffee was delicious (probably my most important requirement!) and the cruffin a real treat. I had a rhubarb and custard combination. A lovely place with a relaxed friendly feel, we've already had guests visit and they concur with all of the above!👍☕

Secret Dining with Paul Cunningham
A little secret that we have been keeping! We have been working with Paul for a few months and we are delighted to have now had 2 secret dining events at The Green in our beautiful Meadow Barn. Guests were treated to an amazing 11 course tasting menu. Paul entertained guests with stories of the food provenance, preparation and the inspiration behind each dish. Guests were picked up in Newcastle and didn't know where they were going until they arrived at the top of our lane. Arriving on the Aughnahoory Road at night in the depth's of winter is not for the faint hearted! A walk down the lane, along the river across the bridge to The Meadow Barn added to the anticipation and excitement of a truly memorable experience.
