Hendricks Hollow, Normanby is situated in a quiet village which couldn't be better positioned for travelling to some of the best sites and attractions North Yorkshire can offer. The cottage can accommodate 2 adults and a travel cot if required. We are sorry but no doggies however well behaved and gorgeous they may be. Within 15 minutes you could be living the Brideshead Revisited dream at Castle H

oward or alternatively plan a day trip and take in some fresh sea air at either Scarborough or Whitby. Don't forget to try some local fish 'n' chips while you are there too! Knocking on the door of the North Yorkshire Moors with their changing scenery and breathtaking panoramas you can spend days exploring the numerous trails and paths. Of course not forgetting the fact that North Yorkshire is famous for its local produce, it is safe to assume we have a vast array of restaurants and pubs in close proximity which ALL need trying! Beyond the immediate area the cottage is within easy reach of York with all of its historic buildings and attractions including The Shambles, Jorvik Viking Museum, The York National Railway Museum and of course the landmark York Minster. The cottage itself has been recently refurnished and upgraded offering a luxury experience. We have chosen our interior colour scheme to reflect the local natural colours- heathers, mosses, stone and rich dark wood. So to paint a picture- Just imagine after your day exploring you can come back, watch the sunset and then fire up the log burner and shut out the night. Finally fall into the super-kingsize bed with cotton sheets, puffy pillows and light billowy duvet.

The apple orchard is a project we started some years ago and there are lots of different views to take in with your coffee.
