Please lend your support to this petition if you enjoy a holiday let in the UK. It’s going to make staycations much less affordable

Reverse Government plans to abolish the Furnished Holiday Lettings tax regime - please sign this petition!

This is in addition to the survey you may have already signs, but is no less important. If more than 10,000 sign this petition, it must be debated by the UK Parliament.

Furnished Holiday Lets (self-catering businesses) contribute a huge amount to local economies. They support jobs (cleaners, property managers, plumbers, etc.) and provide thousands of customers to local shops, restaurants, and tourist attractions.

The sector represents £1bn in Scotland alone.

The UK Government must reverse its plans to abolish the FHL tax regime and support this vital sector.

It was with great sadness, I witnessed the damage to North Berwick harbour wall after the storms this October. The wall dates back to more than 150 years ago. If you treasure North Berwick harbour as much as I do or simply want to help preserve a beautiful historic structure that provide shelter to this day, please help donate to repair. Thank you.

Happy Christmas at the Puffin Burrow! This is ‘Stocking’ our living Christmas tree who will come back each year as long as possible to help you celebrate the holidays in December.

We’re supporting two North Berwick schoolchildren with their rent a living Christmas tree scheme. They’ve named 30 of their trees which they look after throughout the year, ours is called Stocking! Stocking gets collected in January and then comes back again next December, with new growth.
