We were over the moon to have been the chosen charity for this year’s event, to showcase Smile and have the opportunity, to speak to so many people over the course of the day.

🚨 CALL-OUT 🚨

A busy 24 hours for our crew as we were tasked to 3 separate call-outs.

The first 2 call-outs came within the early hours of Thursday morning. The initial taking was to an incident within the vicinity of the River Hull. Whilst on scene at the initial taking, we received a further tasking within a similar location. Both incidents were ultimately brought to a positive resolution.

Friday morning saw our third call-out of the week, being paged just before lunchtime and involved a multi agency response to an incident within the vicinity of the River Humber. Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance were also in attendance as well as Yorkshire Ambulance Service.

Hull Coastguard Rescue Team were also in attendance to all call-outs.

As we build up to the warmer weather, we remind you to remain vigilant around the water.

If you see someone in difficulty, call 999 and ask for COASTGUARD.
