Friday 9th February - Monday 12th February 2024

Staying in 4* Centrehotel Arnarhvoll, you'll be in a great postion to explore Reykjavik.

Once you have your bearings I'd like you to join us on a walking food tour, sample Reykjavik like a local, forget the bus, let's find the hidden gems on foot. Take in local food, people & culture. We'll visit local restaurants with a fun knowledgable guide.

Once we are fed, we'll embark on a misson to catch one of the most beautiful celestial displays found in nature. Northern Lights Cruise.

Day 2

Morning after breakfast our transfer taking us to Blue Lagoon! geothermal waters' rich with three active ingredients - silica, Algae & Mineerals. Entrance includes a Silica Mud Mask, Towel and 1 drink of your choice.

Returning to Reykjavik gives you time on your own to explore the city more. Evening we invite you on a pub crawl, great chance to get to know each other, find the best Icelandic craft beers or snaps! Beer was banned in Iceland for 74 years, find out why on this tour.

Day 3

Will be a full day, experiencing Iceland's most famous and exciting natural phenomena by exploring the Golden Circle by Super Jeep.

Highlights on this day will be visiting pingvellir National Park, here is the country's first parliment founded in 930AD. This being the oldest extant parliamentary institution in the world.

We head inland to Geyser Hot Spring Area with its boling mud pits and spouting hot springs.

Then Waterfalls! not just any waterfall but Gullfoss, one of Icelands most powerful waterfalls.

To finish the day our final stop will be Langjokull glacier, this will bring your James Bond out of you. Dashing across snowfields on snowmobiles while taking in the peaks and ice surrounding us.

Back to the hotel where you'll enjoy your last evening in Reykjavik.

What would you do?
Imagine booking your dream Thailand Holiday and then the entry requirements change!

I know Travel is very much open now and I'd say since the summer been getting easier, although Airport Q's and cancelled flights an issue.

Life in general getting easier for most with Covid and probably don't give a second thought, I mean no masks, no showing NHS App to enter shops etc. So booking travel and holidays so easy isn't it?

Open the Laptop and start surfing, pretty images and pictures like below just bring you in. Terms, conditions and rules not always read, press a couple of buttons and all booked, something to look forward to in 2023.

That is great, but be aware that Covid is still around and changes can happen between booking to travelling, being flexible helps, also to research before booking. I know this sort of research not as exciting as the infinity pools, beaches etc.

If your un vaccinated and booked, please get in touch with who you have booked with and discuss what options are open to you. If your vaccinated then the next part is check what Travel Insurance you have, make sure you have Covid cover included.

Last part I hope nobody caught out! so when booking along with the sexy pictures, infinity pools etc we are drawn to prices. I never book a hotel that would be non refundable, or non changeable, why? I like to be flexible and very much aware the world can change. As travel is opening up, a lot of if not most suppliers are back to normal terms and conditions. If you've chosen that appealing price, it could be because the hotel is Non Changeable - Non Refundable and that means exactly that, for you little if any flexibility.

So as you are planning your holidays or travel plans for 2023 please research, think and be aware changes to entry etc can happen. Not just Thailand, this is just about the same for USA. Not vaccinated then sorry no entry.

I personally think it's too easy to book online and we are lazy in not always reading the T&C's, we're also in buying mode so all fluffy and not thinking of what may happen.
