Our local trades are just the best!

The amazing Jonathan Dalwood plumbing has replaced our boiler this week at Farthing Cottage for a lovely shiny new one and we are toasty warm 💗

The added advantage of an owner visit is to restock and check we are still looking good! On this trip I decided that we have worked so hard on improving everything but we haven’t replaced the carpets so as an early Xmas present to our beloved cottage we are having new carpets upstairs and on the stairs.

The colour is carefree pewter and we couldn’t be happier 😎 We are using the amazing Kerrys Carpets in North Walsham.

Worried that dogs won’t be allowed upstairs……

STILL allowed and we have an amazing Vax Carpet cleaner and all the best sprays and shampoos so we have you covered if an accident happens ( we understand and we get it!)

I’m excited!!

Thank you to our last guests who made a donation to Nero’s Kitchen.

Where possible we always try to supply their treats in our doggy welcome packs which means more money to help to Elpida Shelter 🥰

Jan sells the biscuits from an honesty box in Happisburgh so it’s great to be able to pick some up when you are on holiday here in Norfolk!

It’s been a busy changeover day here at Farthing Cottage!

The hot weather has been lovely but the lawn needed a good water and feed which it’s had today 🙂 so hopefully it will feel better ❤️‍🩹

Also put up some fancy edging and we now have a lovely bench to sit on in the garden 🥰🥰🥰

Ooooo now this is exciting!! Only a 5 min drive to Tavern Tasty from Farthing Cottage, Trunch and now you can get takeaway hot food from their car park courtesy of Burgers by the bridge!!

This Friday we have a new burger van opening its doors! Open every Friday evening and offering a massive selection of different goodies! Please come down for opening day this Friday and support them! Burgers By The Bridge
