We started the Worstead Estate Farmer’s Markets in August 2023, and what a success it’s been. Thank you to all of the stallholders* who have participated in this and taken a chance on us. We are also very grateful to all of the community who have shown up; in wind, rain or shine. This has been a big team effort, so it’s brilliant to see how successful it’s been.

We are so looking forward to our 2024 markets, so make sure to keep an eye on our socials for all the latest updates!

Throwback to the private styled show-round we had back in November, showcasing the wedding venue and the accommodation available on site to provide you with the best weekend wedding imaginable. This is Estate Cottage featured which booked and potential couples were able to have a look around, alongside having the opportunity to ask any questions to our Property Manager.

Please be vigilant with booking our holiday accommodation online. There have been several false profiles looking to scam our cottages in marketplace and a number of groups. We always direct to our website for any bookings, late deals or cancellations.

The annual Made in Worstead Christmas market takes place this year in St. Mary's church, Worstead from 10am on 25th November 2023.
As an added bonus, The Worstead Estate market also takes place on the same day - make a day of it and visit them both.

You’re invited to our Halloween themed Farmer’s Market happening this Saturday, with lots of wonderful stallholders selling everything from pies and pastries, to flowers and fragrances.

We will also have a decorative space in a spooky alcove in Barn 1, which we would like to invite all our visitors to join in the fun and take a photo with their family and friends. Make sure to tag us in your posts and stories and we’ll re-share!

The mosaic of habitats across the estate form a biodiverse landscape that is exploding year-on-year from the wider management strategy from these key features. This spring fed lake has seen many new species in the trophic cascade of life arrive over the last few years.

If you look closely, that’s one of the director’s dogs, Rufus, enjoying a swim in his favourite spot.

Rewind to a wonderful and wholesome Harvest Festival Farmer’s Market last weekend with so many wonderful local businesses in attendance. If you bought anything here, please keep tagging us, as it’s so wonderful to see and helps to bring more awareness to these local businesses.

Did you know that maize and sweetcorn are not the same crop? They look very similar and are grown in almost identical ways, but maize is harvested when the kernels are dry and mature, whereas sweetcorn is picked when immature and used as a vegetable.

On the estate, we have a large amount of maize growing in our fields, which when harvested, goes to .change anaerobic digester to supply electricity to the grid.
