urbished in 2014 the cottage sleeps up to six people and offers uninterrupted views of the steam trains as they slowly pass to collect a token from the signalman before their onward journey. The sleeping arrangement comprises of 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom (both offering views over the railway), and 1 bunk bed room. The bathroom has bath with overhead shower, basin and toilet. The cottage has a fully fitted kitchen including electric oven and hobs, fridge freezer, microwave, washing dryer, iron and ironing board. The lounge has a flat screen freeview TV, complete with DVD player, CD player and Ipod dock and also offers views of the passing steam trains that run by at the bottom of the garden. For those colder evenings and winter days the room has a log burner complete with fuel for your stay. With access from the separate dining room seating six people, the fully enclosed garden and patio area is the perfect setting to sit and watch the steam trains that run throughout the day. The Cottage has a fully secure garage for secure bike storage should you wish to bring your bike with you alternatively they can be hired locally
The nearby market town of Pickering is within an easy 15 minutes’ walk away which facilities include a supermarket, shops, banks, restaurants and pubs.
