We’ve sadly been a little absent from our socials lately as we have been so distracted with loves, losses and illness in our behind the scenes lives.
We hope you’ve all had a wonderful Christmas and allow us to wish you all the very best of love, luck, contentment and happiness to come your way in 2025 🌟❤️
Also a huge thank you to all of our wonderful guests that have been part of our story since 2017. We appreciate each and every one of you.

We’ve chosen our outdoor trees again from . A huge selection of trees, helpful & friendly staff and hot mulled wine to make things truly festive.
The trees have stayed wrapped up since we got them home…waiting for this wild wind to calm down before we (I say we, but I really mean Kev!) position them and cover them in fairy lights.

Autumn has well and truly arrived here at HHFC thanks to Kev and his top pumpkin carving skills! We just love this time of year, and we wish this week’s lovely guests a wonderful and cosy holiday with us 🎃🍂

We have a recently opened, fabulous Everyman Cinema in Northallerton if you love the idea of a cosy winter’s evening spent watching a movie. They have an excellent food and cocktail menu too, so take a cab! My fave at the moment is a Picante 🍸😋🍸
We pop brochures into your cottage but you can always check out the screenings here for up to date info.

I know this a very unusual post but we are hoping somebody may be able to help please!
Blossom, a Texel ewe, is a family pet. The gate to her field had been deliberately opened last night and she has literally just vanished. (Tuesday 13 Aug)
She’s a big chunky adorable girl who is overdue her shearing and even if she’d wandered off she would’ve come over to our house or just gone a short distance eating the hedgerows as she went.
We’ve searched extensively all day for her, to no avail.
We have reached the conclusion she has been stolen.
We will be so grateful If anybody may have spotted her in an unusual place or have any info at all for us.
Also, if anybody knows the whereabouts of a white Ford transit van with EA13 as part of the registration plate.
We are in the Little Langton area.

A little reminder to let you know our cottages are dog-friendly! 🐕‍🦺🏡

We allow two small dogs or one medium-sized dog in our cottages, and while we ask that you keep them on their leads when they’re outside, we have a big secure exercise paddock where they can have a run about and stretch their legs 🐶🌳

We also have a cleaning station for muddy paws 🐾 🧼
