Hello everyone, Michelle here! 👋 I have just returned from Egypt with Red Sea Holidays 🇪🇬 - I had an AMAZING time and I will be honest, I didn't want to come back! The weather was a striking 28 degrees most days, compared to the beautiful English weather! 🌞🌴 Below is a blog of what I got up to! It was a great oppurtunity and I am so happy I had the chance to go.
We flew from Manchester into Hurghada, where upon arrival we had to get a visa to permit us into Hurghada itself. We arrived late evening, after we had got through the airport, we hopped on our transfer and got to the hotel where we went straight into the restaurant. We were staying at the Grand Waterworld Makadi Bay, when we arrived at the hotel, I was blown away! The decoration was stunning and very intricate.
It was a very busy and jam packed few days, but wow I loved it!
Day 1, was a day of hotel visits, we visited 8 hotels which are in the portflio with Red Sea Holidays. All of the hotels we visited were based in the Makadi Bay area of Hurghada and all of them offered different things.
Day 2, was an amazing day, we visited Orange Bay, this is a tourist attraction which is widely accesible to everyone. The journey was completed via a yacht, we were collected from a hotel and we got taken across from the hotel over to the bay. Along the way there were two snorkeling stops where everyone on the boat was able to get off and swim in the sea, see the fish and the coral reefs which were under the clearest water I have ever seen! We also got to see dolphins which was a sureal experience.
Day 3, was another spectcualar day! We visited Luxor, this was a very early start, we got up at 415am where we embarked on our journey from our hotel. We spent 5 hours on the coach where we were traveling through the mountains and the desert area. When on the coach, we also went through a lot of the towns, this was very eye opening as it was full of different people and the way of life was extremely
