A couple of days progress on Nb Shirley bathroom refit, floor lifted, ballast adjusted, plumbing relocated, floor back down and over boarded, new Lino fitted, compost toilet in position, and vanity unit built and primed. Not back on there till Monday now when hopefully the bath will be onboard. 🛁 🤞

All other jobs completed, so now it’s time to concentrate on Nb Shirley, new bathroom incoming and a fair few other jobs...

Engine replacement carried out over the last few days for Carefree Cruising Boatshare Limited on Nb winding down, removing an izuzu 42 and replacing with a Beta Marine Ltd 43, replacement legs supplied to suit izuzu engine beds making installation a bit easier, no need for cutting out and fitting new engine beds. 😀 all new hoses, cables, fuel lines & exhaust installed, already for the owners to take out tomorrow.👍

A few jobs completed on Nb out of the blue at Oakwood marina, Webasto heat exchanger had corroded, replaced system flushed out and refilled and tested 🥵 also some frost damage to the shower which has been replaced and a leak to the bathroom basin repaired. 😀

Another fire install started yesterday and completed this afternoon, fire removed, old tiles which were stuck directly to the wooden hull lining removed and new heat proofing installed, new tiles fitted, new fire installed and flu pipe manufactured and fitted.

Diesel stove removed last week on Nb Take it easy, new hearth made and fitted, heat proofing installed and tiled to customers spec, new Arada Hammett solution 4 installed with new roof collar and flu pipe. Just awaiting delivery of some trim so I can go back and trim the hearth and tiles. 😀

Final job of the year completed, Nb Coeur De Lion, grit blasted, hull work completed as required on hull survey, re-blasted and 3 coats of epoxy and new anodes all round, now time for a break and spend some quality time with family and friends. 🎄 merry Christmas to you all and see you in 2025 🎄🍺
