Yesterday I went up to fettlers wharf marina to start a bathroom refit, old bathroom furniture removed bulkheads removed to make it a walk through bathroom, shower bulkhead installed and tray in position, today I’ve been at home making units to install in the bathroom tomorrow 😀

Service completed this morning on Oakwood marina, then my van decides it’s not happy with the wet weather and put warning lights on 🤦🏼 paperwork day for the rest of today. 🤔

Over the last few days I’ve been working on a boat which had various faults caused by a cowboy (customers words not mine) repairs included all new batteries, tracing wiring faults for charging issues, bilge pumps and engine panel gauges, Webasto repairs, engine faults with the engine not running, engine repaired and running and a full service carried out, then on my way home today I’ve nipped to Oakwood marina to replace a set of domestic batteries that had failed and gassing off. The suns been shining also which made the days better. 😀 nice weekend off now with the family. See you all Monday 🍺

A visit to meet a new customer first thing this morning then 2 services completed for the rest of the day, one a little worse than the other. All done in the lovely British weather. 🌧️ 🌧️ hopefully tomorrow brings a better day 🤞

Back to it today after a great break with family, first job replacement immersion element which kept tripping the electric on the pontoon 🤦🏼 then onto a faulty Webasto, after plugging in the diagnostics it showed the air motor to have failed. New part sourced and fitted within 2hrs of starting the job. 😀, let’s see what tomorrow brings. 🤔

Various work completed over the last week. Was enjoying myself so much I forgot get pictures of most of them, various engine services mainly on canaline, One which had a large amount of water in the fuel which I need to revisit in a few weeks once the diesel has been polished, engine repairs inc fuel filter housings and water pumps, plumbing repairs, Webasto diagnostics and repairs which got me to the end of the week. 😀 I’m now on holiday until the 27th of August, any enquiries will be replied to once I’m back. Time to relax and enjoy some quality family time 😀

Nb Alyeska. Back in the water after a full bare metal repaint using international 2k perfection pro system. This come to us as a new shell but needed a fair bit more prep than first thought. With rust under the original primer and weld splatter everywhere. Caldwells Windows Ltd bonded windows installed and now Looking good now she’s back in the water 🤩👍 thanks to Dan RDE Narrowboat Services for his help on this one again. 👍

Nb Annie B, back in the water today and handed back to her happy owners Full bare metal repaint using international 2k perfection pro system giving hard wearing paint, high gloss levels and uv protection.

760w solar panel system installed at Oakwood marina on Nb Tiller of fun. 2 x 380w LG panels installed on corner feet, wired through the victron mppt 150/60 controller. 😁 just need the sun to come back out now 🌞

Nb Tess, out last week for 2pac maintenance coat, anodes, gunnel repaint, annual engine service, and a few others jobs completed, back in the water today and heading back to its home mooring at Mercia marina. 😁

Nb water baron handed back to her owners this morning after having a full bare metal repaint using the international perfection pro 2k system giving high gloss level, uv protection and hard wearing. Thanks to Dan RDE Narrowboat Services for the hard work put in and a massive thanks to the talented Charlotte from Seawood Signwriting. Another happy customer. 😁 a little break before our next one starting next week. 👍

Final touches to our repaint ❤️

Progress on our repaint. Side door frame has been modified and manufactured in steel not wood which was original and rotten. Epoxy primer applied. Undercoated and first top coat on today. 2nd coat tomorrow. 😁 thanks RDE Narrowboat Services for your help on this one. 👍

New deck channels installed on Nb Ben due to the old ones corroded and allowing water into the engine bay.

Next full repaint in this month. Nb Water Barron in for full bare metal repaint using international 2k perfection pro system. Working with RDE Narrowboat Services again on this one 😁

Annual service completed this morning on Nb Wild Thyme, new alternator belt fitted, heater plug fault repaired also. Water present in pre fuel filter which has been cleaned and owner informed. Now time to enjoy the Easter break with family and friends 😁 🐣

Some upgrades on Nb Ben at Oakwood Marina, engine service which picked up a fault with the temperature sensor, new deck board & engine panel, sound proofing on underside of deck board. New upholstery and some other little repairs along the way. 😁

The customers on Nb Mondrum decided against traditional signwriting and opted for vinyl. This was fitted last Friday and looks great. 😁
