🏴🔥 UPDATED FIRE GUIDANCE FOR SMALL PROPERTIES🔥🏴
Today the Home office has released and updated version of the "Making your small paying guest accommodation safe from fire" Guidance issued in March 2023.

Changes include:
• Added new legal requirements introduced through Section 156 of the Building Safety Act 2022
• Expanded explanation of the status of the guide
• Revised introduction to provide more detail on application of the Fire Safety Order to short- term lets
• Revised scope to provide more detail on the applicability of the guide to smaller types of guest accommodation such as holiday caravans, camping and glamping pods, bothies, lodges, shepherds’ huts, tents, tree houses and yurts
• Updated guidance in relation to the use and provision of fire extinguishers (See section 5 of the PASC UK paper for an important update)
• Added usage of modal verbs in relation to Article 50 guidance
We are checking to see if the Welsh equivalent will be changed. As soon we have answer we will let you know. This Guidance does not apply to Scotland. 🏴🏴
