🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🔥 UPDATED FIRE GUIDANCE FOR SMALL PROPERTIES🔥🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Today the Home office has released and updated version of the "Making your small paying guest accommodation safe from fire" Guidance issued in March 2023.

Changes include:

• Added new legal requirements introduced through Section 156 of the Building Safety Act 2022
• Expanded explanation of the status of the guide
• Revised introduction to provide more detail on application of the Fire Safety Order to short- term lets
• Revised scope to provide more detail on the applicability of the guide to smaller types of guest accommodation such as holiday caravans, camping and glamping pods, bothies, lodges, shepherds’ huts, tents, tree houses and yurts
• Updated guidance in relation to the use and provision of fire extinguishers (See section 5 of the PASC UK paper for an important update)
• Added usage of modal verbs in relation to Article 50 guidance

We are checking to see if the Welsh equivalent will be changed. As soon we have answer we will let you know. This Guidance does not apply to Scotland. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

On holiday late April – June? visit Sheringham Park for a spectacular display of rhododendrons and azalea.

The Georgian park is just a short drive from the town of Sheringham, the gardens were designed by Humphry Repton. Sheringham Hall is situated in the grounds of the park, now a private residence although the public can walk the extensive parkland and plantations owned by the National trust.

The courtyard cafe serves a range of hot and cold drinks, cakes and sandwiches.

A Week in Norfolk

• Waking up in Wickmere, perfect sunrise.
• A walk from Felbrigg to Cromer for coffee, timed just right to see the boats on the shore!
• The Norfolk Broads, a little bit of a drive but worth a walk and a trip to the great pubs in the surrounding area.
• Christmas shopping in Norwich, some great local shops to visit. Why not start the day with The Assembly house beforenoon tea? Great for a special occasion 🍰
• All of our cottages are all ready for christmas, perfect for a cozy night in front of the fire.

A week in Norfolk!

- Coffee at Cromer. A cold early morning walk from Felbrigg estate to Cromer sea front just in time to see the boats on the shore!
- Exploring Wickmere, perfect sunrise.
- A trip to The Norfolk Broads, quick stop at the pub after a walk along the water’s edge.
- Up to Norwich for some Christmas shopping and a little treat! Beforenoon tea, a great twist on Afternoon tea 🍰
- All of our Christmas trees are up! The perfect cosy night in to end the week 🎄

Felbrigg
A National Trust property located between Cromer and Sheringham, great for coffee, cake and walks.
Family friendly events are taking place in the run up to Christmas and things are starting to look a bit more festive 🦌
