Limited places available.

You need to be able to Plain Hunt on the treble and be able to ring the tenor behind. Ideally you’ll have rung a quarter peal on the treble and tenor already.

It's Science Week in Norwich during the February Half Term. On Wednesday and Thursday we are introducing you to bellringing.

Come up into the training centre and we can show you how to ring a bell. From age 7 upwards you will find our training bells manageable. We have experts to "show you the ropes".

The bellringing will be 10.30-11.30 & 13.30-14.30 on Wednesday 19th February & Thursday 20th February.

Then there is rope making.

Our mini rope walk is down in the church. It needs plenty of space to make ropes long enough to reach bells up in the tower!

Come and help us make the little bell ropes on our mini rope walk. It's fascinating watching how the rope develops and the how the sally is added into the rope.

The rope making is 11.00-12.00 & 13.00-14.00 on Wednesday 19th February & Thursday 20th February.

There are guides in the church to show you where the activities are happening, We wNorwich Science FestivalsEDP 24BBC East and BBC Radio Norfolkercrowded. You may have a short wait while we make space for you.

The Surprise Major Practice will be held on 1st February at 10.30-12.00 at MRDC.

Happy New Year!
We are back after the Christmas break with plenty of our regular sessions resuming this week.
Our young ringers start tomorrow at 5.30pm followed by the student ringers at 6.30pm

Thursday at midday it’s odd bell methods, Stedman, Grandsire, St Simon’s and Plain

Friday at midday it’s the solo practice simulator session. If this is something you’d like to try and haven’t been before, do get in touch, I’m looking to run some introduction to using the simulator sessions. It helps both your method ringing and your striking!

Saturday the Skills you need for Plain Hunt is at 9am.

Next week, Tuesday we have Foundation Skills at midday followed by Plain Bob at 2pm.
