What's behind the door of St Mary the Less in Tombland?

I took my opportunity to find out when I saw the door open yesterday. The answer.... a door from 1637 and a bunch of quirky hand made signs about The Strangers, who were given the church as a cloth hall when they first arrived in 1565.

There was also a wonderfully colorful gentleman in a folding chair reading the Sun and willing to tell me all sorts of history about the church.

Norwich is full of surprises.....
