A sky full of stars 🌟 I never really got it when people said that Norfolk skies are bigger, but they really are. You can see so much sky whereever you are in Norfolk. It's hard to describe how simply stunning our skies are! And the stars are just something else 😍 even my children get mesmerised by it. So go outside, turn the lights off and wait for the magic to come alive 🥰

A HUGE Thank you to you amazing lot who took the time to respond to my post this morning! You certainly have given us all a lot of food for thought.

For those of you who hadn't seen it, we were asking for input on things we could change to help our Oak Cottage get some more bookings. It sleeps 4 and is our lowest-priced cottage.

The main debate seemed to be:
1) Upgrading the double bed to a King bed
2) Making the singles so they could be pushed together to sleep a couple.
3) Change to a walk-in shower
4) Keep the bath

There were a few other suggestions, that were kindly suggested that we will look into, but these were the main reoccurring points. The bathroom was a 50/50 split over the platforms, so that's been incredibly interesting.

So I may be opening a can of worms here, but I really need your help! Our lovely little Oak Cottage sleeps 4, just isn't getting the bookings, now I know it isn't the price as it's our cheapest cottage (even cheaper than our sleeps 2)...so what is it about Oak, **that we can change**, that puts you off booking?

Is it the bath? Do you want a walk-in shower? Or do the twin beds need to be able to be pushed together? Any ideas of things that we CAN change?

Cromer Pier is holding a brand-new dog festival on Saturday 22 March 2025. It's a great opportunity for dog owners and their dogs to enjoy a day full of fun, games and activities. The free event will feature exciting dog shows, a pet parade and lots of opportunities to meet other dog lovers.
There will also be dog-friendly stalls offering everything from treats and toys to grooming tips and accessories and even a few treats for the humans. You can even enter your dog into the competition for 'Best in Show', 'Waggiest Tail' or 'Best Dressed'. A great way to spend the day with your dog whilst enjoy beautiful views of the North Norfolk coast.

Last night, we were out chipping the last of the branches we had cut, and honestly, I cannot tell you how happy it made us all once the final branch was done! We didn't think we were going to get it finished, and at one point, we were in tears over how much we had to do. But today is a new day, and it's ALL done (for now). I didn't want to post anything until it was all gone because it was ALOT, and I had massive anxiety over it. But I'll put together a reel showing you just HOW much there was!

Day 5366 😅 and with it came lots of painting for me and mum, and then panicking when we splashed it on my newly jet washed floor 😅! Some roofing by Chris and dad. Then, a bit of help from a local farmer to tackle our hedges 💪💪 it's been a busy day 😴 now off to catch up on emails...send help 😅

It's FINALLY here! It's been a while in the making, I didn't want to promise it until it had been installed, as knowing my luck, it may not have come 😅 but we finally have installed, NOT 1 BUT 2 EV chargers! We are so excited that we are now able to offer charging points to our guests! So...who's going to be the first to use it?
