Rocket Scenery was formed in 1999 and builds theatre scenery for shows all over the world. We have worked on productions for many of London's theatres and others around the country. We have worked on productions for other countries and to go on cruise ships. We work with Production Managers and Designers to turn ideas into reality. We have metal and wood workshops, 2 paint shops and a set electric

It’s not deja vu, we are really back on Oliver!

After its wonderful opening at Chichester Festival Theatre in the summer, it’s time to make, paint and light up more for this lovely set (Thank you L*z Brotherston) in readiness for the Gielgud later this year.

Thankfully it was a sunny day last week when we loaded our first truck for MJ Hamburg. Let’s leave discussing the merits and pitfalls of curtainsiders for another day and admire the beautiful painting and tidy electrics instead!

Rocket Scenery are looking for an experienced Scenic Artist to lead our Scenic Art department.

You will be working with some leading designers on great shows and, alongside our talented team, paint and finish scenery to the highest standards.

The position is full-time and comes with all employee benefits including overtime pay after 38 hours, holiday pay, pension contributions and our working week finishes at 1pm on a Friday.
