❗ Due to events this weekend - Could Be Real Tribute Festival and Woodland Disco Festival - the Formal Gardens will be open to visitors today (Friday 5 July) until 3pm. Parking is £6 until 3pm, then £10 after this.

❗ Tomorrow (Saturday 6 July) the Formal Gardens will be closed to visitors, but the Café and Top Lake area will be accessible until 4pm. The Historic House will also be open - usual times and admission charges apply. Parking is £10 all day.

Please note that season tickets are not valid on event days.

"BEST LUXURY FARM STAY EVER

We stayed in Fairview farm last year when we got married, and booked for the whole wedding party. We loved it so much we stayed again with a smaller group of close friends. This place is just a dream. We stayed in the newly renovated poppy Lodge and it was incredible. So comfortable and clean. The views are stunning. Debbie is warm and friendly and couldn't be more helpful. We will come back every year to celebrate our anniversary as it is our happy place now. Looking for somewhere to stay during your visit, we are based approximately 20 minutes away from Thoresby Park and we have a variety of accommodation on our 88 acre working farm. www.fairviewfarmholidayaccommodation.co.uk

Advance warning regarding Spirit of War Time Sherwood Event on the 18th and 19th of May 2024.

As part of this event we are excited to have the Battle of Britain flight joining us again on the Saturday and also a full tank and armoured personnel re-enactment using live firing (blanks) at 1pm for 20mins on both Saturday and Sunday.

Please be aware that during this time loud noises will be heard from the Lawns where the battle will be taking place.

This is a Great day out

One day to go! We have been busy getting Papplewick Pumping Station ready to host the Classic & Vintage Vehicles steaming event on May 5th/6th.

Get ready to witness a fascinating display of beautifully restored classic cars and vintage vehicles, all while enjoying the sights and sounds of this ornate Victorian pumping station. Join us for a weekend filled with nostalgia, steam, fun and live music from Dixie Jack (Sunday) and hot 50s & 60s duo the Moonshiners (Monday).

Don't forget to take a guided tour of the awe inspiring underground reservoir or a ride on the miniature railway (additional charges apply).

We also have an exciting woodland play area available for children, onsite cafe selling a range of sandwiches, cakes and pies and an array of model boats on the Cooling Pond.
