On a recent trip to Bhutan we saw almost 300 different birds including two trogons, three forktails, four hornbills, five barbets, five yuhinas, eight woodpeckers, nine t**s, all nine bulbuls and ten laughingthrushes, plus stars like Ibisbill, Tawny Fish Owl, Yellow-rumped Honeyguide, Long-tailed Broadbill, Red-faced Liocichla, Spotted Elachura, Beautiful Nuthatch, the stunning Blood Pheasant, Satyr Tragopan and Himalayan Monal and the mega-rare White-bellied Heron! All this amid wonderful scenery while accompanied by some of the nicest people on earth!

On a recent trip to Scotland we saw 87 different birds including Red-throated, Black-throated and Great Northern Divers, Long-tailed Duck, Scaup, Common and Velvet Scoters, American Wigeon, White-tailed Eagle, Hen Harrier, Red and Black Grouse, Woodcock, Crested Tit and Snow Bunting, plus fantastic close views of Red Squirrel, Badger and Pine Marten.

On our Hogmanay trip in a lovely hotel, we saw Red Squirrels, Mountain Hares and a Scottish Wildcat as well as 82 different birds including rarities like Red-throated and Great Northern Divers, Slavonian Grebe, Long-tailed Duck, Smew, Velvet Scoter, Green-winged Teal, American Wigeon, Black Grouse, Hen Harrier, Great Grey Shrike, Waxwing, Crested Tit and Snow Bunting, and all amid wonderful scenery.

On our most recent Day Break we saw a Stoat, several close Roe Deer and 54 different birds including Swifts and Sand Martins galore, plus Grey Partridge, Little Ringed Plover, Spotted Flycatcher, Lesser Whitethroat, Yellow Wagtail, Yellowhammer and Bittern!
