It's new episode day of @allthatglitters and of course that has us thinking about talented jewellery design! We wanted to share this montage from @melissamontaguejewellery as she shows some of her favourite jewellery techniques Melissa, an alumni of the prestige Crafts Council Talent Programme, is a specialist metalsmith working in copper, silver and gold-plated copper with expertise is oxidising and decorative hammer techniques! Melissa’s studio and foundry is based in Sheffield, the historic region in Great Britain that is associated with metalwork since the 14th century We've had a fantastic year with Melissa developing a collection of oxidised and sterling silver cufflinks and tiepins embossed with our Nottingham Laces You can shop the range at both our Lace Market and Ruddington galleries, alongside a collection of Melissa’s beautiful spoon earrings and necklaces - we also sell a range online too! So we have twisting, soldering, sanding, balling ear wires, charcoal casting, saw piercing and oxidising.
