So driving on/off a Greek ferry boat can be nerve racking. However on the smaller islands having your car on each island can be a godsend. Depending on the ferry line, some of the staff can shout a little at you if you are not used to it but ultimately they have a schedule to keep to. The cars are parked incredibly close together as can be seen by the photos. The best tip was listen to the staff guiding you and don’t rely on the sensors/camera on the car. You park up on the quay around 30-45 mins before the ferry is due and on the smaller islands go and have a coffee whilst you are waiting for the ferry. As you leave most of your luggage in the car it’s means less rushing around trying to stow your luggage on the racks located in the car garage. One thing to bear in mind is that any passengers must get out of the car before you drive onto the ferry so you need to agree where you are going to meet. We can do car hire which you can take onto the ferries which we can include in your price.
