One good win deserves another...... and blazers B team were happy to oblige with an almost identical scoreline to the previous win.

The best performance of the team so far with scoring coming from everywhere and plenty of strong defense in the second half.

Can we nake it 3 in a row on Monday?

Blazers A team won a close game last week by 5 points. Ahead the whole second half, but not able to pull away completely. Some good shooting from three towards the end was enough despite a last minute run from rawlins.

Blazers B finally ended the losing streak thanks to a comfortable win over Kettering last Friday.

In scoring 80 points we doubled our season average to that point and played decent defence too.

Hopefully the momentum won't diminish since we now have to wait till 8th of November for game 5......

Blazers B suffered a third straight loss to open the season, but things did look up a little. Keeping our opponents below 60 and making more 3's were good signs. Rebounding and turnovers hurt us in a game that was never too far away....

Blazers A had a bounce back win against warriors, winning 102 - 68.

Lots of scoring from all over the court and contributions from everyone. Momentarily this put us top of the division..... tonight they go again to try and stay there.

Blazers B team had another hard shooting night in game 2. Some positives in the rest of the game, and the presence of a canine fan, was jot enough to overcome fullhurst....

Our shooting was bad, but we kept them to 50 points in 3 quarters which would with even average shooting would gave made it a close game at that point.

A loss for Blazers A team in game 2.

Lots if illness and injury meant a squad of 5.5 could not stick with the athleticism of the Trueborns.

Still, we won 2 of the four quarters. So there will be revenge when they come to our place!

First game for the A team and a big win over Burleigh.

After going down 1-5, we went on a 68 to 37 run to go up 27 near the end of the 3rd. They brought it back a bit to only lose 100-86.

Great shooting from us with 16 made threes.

A few of the Bosworth Blazers players are taking part in the second Andi Peel Memorial Charity Basketball Game will be held on Sunday, 9th of April.

Please whatever you are able to - in his name, memory and honour - to raise money for Brain Tumour Research.

If you can’t donate then please this post to help raise awareness and help the thousands of people just like Andi who need our help to stop them having to suffer the same devastating effects that he had to endure for three cruel years, which finally took his life on 11th January 2023.

Any you are able to give will help fund urgent, vital research into finding a cure for .

Brain tumours KILL MORE CHILDREN AND ADULTS UNDER 40 THAN ANY OTHER CANCER, yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this cause.

Many of us felt so helpless seeing Andi suffer, wondering what we could do to help. This is what we can do to help!
