Blazers B team have clearly spent the Christmas break on the court! A massive turnaround after bring comfortably beaten in the first game of the season with Melton, we were 81 to 53 winners this time around. A strong defence and plenty of good shooting went a long way to securing the best victory of season so far.

Burleigh avenged their loss to the blazers earlier in the season by the narrowest of margins. 79 to 78..... some balanced scoring and some threes towards the end were not enough to take the game.

The A team ran into watershed and, well. It could have gone better. The normal shots for us not falling and a flurry of 3's at the end by them to add insult to injury meant it was not in doubt.

This is a game from ages ago but there were issues with the scoresheet, and it's bad news for the B team... a second half drubbing by gateway. Up by one at the half but our stamina was dropping and they had made a lot of mistakes. Their athleticism won the day but we can and WILL do better next time:

A last quarter defeat by Hinckley last week was as frustrating as they come.

Up by 1 point after 3 and some great basketball played. We ran out of steam and lost by 10. Some silly early turnovers and easy opportunities also didn't help. Certainly a team where the score could be reversed next time.

Last game of the year, 20th December at home!

One good win deserves another...... and blazers B team were happy to oblige with an almost identical scoreline to the previous win.

The best performance of the team so far with scoring coming from everywhere and plenty of strong defense in the second half.

Can we nake it 3 in a row on Monday?

Blazers A team won a close game last week by 5 points. Ahead the whole second half, but not able to pull away completely. Some good shooting from three towards the end was enough despite a last minute run from rawlins.

Blazers B finally ended the losing streak thanks to a comfortable win over Kettering last Friday.

In scoring 80 points we doubled our season average to that point and played decent defence too.

Hopefully the momentum won't diminish since we now have to wait till 8th of November for game 5......

Blazers B suffered a third straight loss to open the season, but things did look up a little. Keeping our opponents below 60 and making more 3's were good signs. Rebounding and turnovers hurt us in a game that was never too far away....

Blazers A had a bounce back win against warriors, winning 102 - 68.

Lots of scoring from all over the court and contributions from everyone. Momentarily this put us top of the division..... tonight they go again to try and stay there.

Blazers B team had another hard shooting night in game 2. Some positives in the rest of the game, and the presence of a canine fan, was jot enough to overcome fullhurst....

Our shooting was bad, but we kept them to 50 points in 3 quarters which would with even average shooting would gave made it a close game at that point.

A loss for Blazers A team in game 2.

Lots if illness and injury meant a squad of 5.5 could not stick with the athleticism of the Trueborns.

Still, we won 2 of the four quarters. So there will be revenge when they come to our place!

First game for the A team and a big win over Burleigh.

After going down 1-5, we went on a 68 to 37 run to go up 27 near the end of the 3rd. They brought it back a bit to only lose 100-86.

Great shooting from us with 16 made threes.

Rough shooting but an amazing final quarter showed us that there is plenty more to come
