All Saints on the Nuneham Estate is a stunning church, built in the 1760s by Solicitor-General Simon Harcourt as part of the landscaped park for Nuneham Park House.

Built to a classical design, with a gleaming dome and six slender columns, the church is as magnificent as its setting overlooking the Thames.

Inside, All Saints is a monument to wealth and taste, with Italian fittings, magnificent memorial sculptures and busts. Look for the child among the bluebells - a beautiful and moving lifesize memorial.

The Nuneham Estate is currently looking for reliable contractors to help us with several jobs.

1) We are looking for a General Builder to replace a wooden porch over a front door and to change a lock on the same door.

2) We are also looking for a Fencing Contractor to remove some vegetation along a boundary between the gardens of two residential properties, remove the old fence, and install a new fence.

Please get in touch if you can help. This is likely to lead to more work, as we have a large amount of properties and require ongoing maintenance and support work on the Estate.

This beautiful hand-drawn map shows how our guest accommodation on the Nuneham Estate is laid out. You will see that all the new and renovated buildings that we are offering for holiday lets are set around the Estate's Heritage farmyard.

That means that while you may rent separate units, you can stay very close to friends and family, but with your own space. You can even eat together, but retire to your own accommodation for a peaceful night.

A Half Term spent in our stunning new holiday accommodation on the Estate can be as relaxed or as busy as you like. With Oxford just five miles away you can easily explore this beautiful city of the 'Dreaming Spires'. Many of the Oxford College grounds are free to get into and you could book on to a Harry Potter tour with GetYourGuide or another operator to explore actual filming locations.

If it's drama you're into, you'll be spoilt. Oxford has many theatres and most have Half Term shows or activities for children. Just a few of these include a street dance workshop at the North Wall in Summertown, Hansel and Gretel performed as a children's ballet at the Oxford Playhouse and a Greatest Showman singalong at the New Theatre Oxford .

The Story Museum shouldn't be missed and over the Half Term week is offering author talks, workshops and its Lego Masters Builders Club - something for kids big and small. The Oxford University Museum of Natural History is set in a stunning Victorian building and is home to seven million specimens. Find more treasures just next door in the Pitt Rivers Museum !

Then of course there's the shopping - stop for a coffee, independent eateries and boutiques in the historic The Covered Market Oxford or go all out in the high street mecca of Westgate Oxford .

If after all that you need a little bit of cold water therapy, Queenford Lakes Open Water Swimming is a short hop from Nuneham Estate and offers drop-in lake sessions.

Retreat back to your peaceful holiday let on the Nuneham Estate and start planning for tomorrow's adventure as the sun sets over the Grade 1 listed Capability Brown parkland.
