Once again we are running our popular #Corryvreckan #Whirlpool Special trips this week, we currently have limited spaces from the 5th to the 8th this month.
No trips yesterday, so we did a spot of crew training. Unfortunately we couldn't find the dummy we use for Man Overboard trianing, so we threw Tony in instead!
Another quick clip of the Bottle Nose Dolphins we had swimming around Easdale on Saturday
One of our skippers, Roy, got this clip today of two dolphins coming in close to say hello!
Over the last couple of seasons these cetaceans have begun to live up to their name - common dolphin. We have been seeing them more regularly then the bottlenose variety on our trips.
All cetacean sightings on #Seafari tours are sent to #Hebridean Whale and Dolphin Trust, via their Whaletrack App, which is also a great for identification too.

Oh deer, oh deer, oh deer.
We did have really good sightings of red and fallow deer last year, mostly on #Scarba. Here's hoping they are as good during the coming season.

So peaceful watching some early spring waders near Ardfern. I am no birder, but I think it is a curlew towards the end of the of the clip. Bit of a study in grey!!

After another spell of "winter" weather I thought we could do with another cheer-up from our 2023 #Seafari season of wildlife - whales this time, from tours on Celtic Adventurer.

We are so fortunate to have Golden and White tailed Sea eagles in the Firth of Lorn, which delight the passengers, fortunate enough to get a glimpse of these magnificent birds of prey. The sea-eagles can be quite obliging when it comes to posing for photographs, but the skill is taking the shot of the birds in flight!! The eagles video is cracking
The weather has been lovely and sunny, but it has been baltic, which can keep some folk inside and I don't blame them!! Whilst we are looking forward to what we might see in 2024 we thought we would post some of the wildlife highlights from last year. The clips have been put together by Josh using pics and videos contributions from skippers and crew from 2023.
Happy 2024
Easdale Islands celebrations on a fab start to the New Year
We had some fantastic eagle action on the tour this morning!!! These 2 adult Sea Eagles followed us down Lunga and Scarba giving us some impressive views!
I don't think the gull was too happy to see them, though!

On this rather wet Saturday, we are reminiscing about this beautiful red deer stag we saw a few weeks ago having a little paddle on his favourite beach!
We often see this stag on this little beach in the Corryvreckan! He seemed to be enjoying a sea weed snack!

We might have been blown off the water over the last few days but it has resulted in some pretty stunning waves off the back of Easdale Island!
Here is some slow-mo wave action!
It was a windy and wild weekend for the @worldstoneskimmingchampionship on Easdale island but it didn't stop our fun!
Team Seafari helped with car parking, burger flipping and stone measuring!
A big well done to all the competitors and organisers for a fab day!!

A midweek dolphin treat 🐬🐬🐬 Both Celtic Wanderer and Adventurer enjoyed seeing a large group of Common Dolphins yesterday afternoon!
We have had some amazing Whirlpool specials over the last few days! Here is Celtic Navigator having a bit of a whirl this morning 🌪🌪🌪🌪
