Well that's the end of another season!! It's been a quiet one this year but we have more than made up in quality! We've had lots of returning guests this year and a number of lovely reviews. Thank you so much to those who have stayed with us! It's just me and my wonderful family beavering away behind the scenes so it means the world to us!! 🥰

I would just like to apologise to everyone on the west coast of Scotland for our atrocious weather this summer! We bought a lovely new set of garden furniture for Barn Cottage this year which obviously invoked 'sod's law'! 🙄 😆 Hopefully it gets more use this month!😁🤞

Unlike some holiday companies, we don't review our guests, but if we did they would be 5⭐️! I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone this year so far! When I've gone in on changeover days to do the cleaning, people have been leaving the cottages spotless! This makes a huge difference and is really appreciated!🥰 Also, we've had a lot of returning guests this year and it's been lovely to see a familiar face and hear what they've been up to since their last visit. You are AMAZING!!🏅🏅🏅

Our wee girl designed a scarecrow for the Seil Scarecrow Festival 2024 this year and we did our best to put it together!😆 It's called ' My First Scarecrow' and as we are actually on the road to Seil rather than on the island we are the first scarecrow on the route!! It starts on Saturday so if you're in the area please check out all the events - it's great!

We're back and ready to get started again! 🤩

We have extended the season for Rowan and Seil until the end of November. Partly this is so that people can stay for the Oban Winter Festival - https://obanwinterfestival.com/ ! I go on about it every year but it really is great and early enough that you're not in full Christmas panic mode yet! 😆

Barn is filling up fast this year but there is plenty of availability in Rowan and Seil. Check dates on www.lochseilcottages.co.uk .

Loch Seil Cottages are three self-catering holiday cottages situated near Oban, in the stunning countryside of the West coast of Scotland. Close to a number of islands you can choose to explore walks, sea adventures or just relax!

We've made a few wee changes to Rowan Cottage so I thought I would share! Last year we replaced the twin room with a small double. So with the two double rooms it's perfect for 3 people or a snug 4! Kerrera is definitely worth a visit as it's so quick to get to from Oban, there are some lovely walks and beautiful views! Kerrera Tea Garden & Bunkhouse has some delicious food and a welcome rest to see you through your adventures!

I can't wait to see what they've done! Obviously I'll have to go for a wee lunch just so that I can tell future guests all about it! ☕🍽️🙂

We will be reopening on Thursday 28th March with a celebratory evening. Everyone is welcome to join us for a complimentary glass of fizz. The bar will be open 6pm-10pm.
We will then be open 11am-10pm every day going forward. Lunch menu 12-3pm and Dinner 5:30-8pm
Thank you so much for your support and patience while we have completed the work, we've still got a few bits to complete over the next few days too!
